Created for a master thesis project at h_da, this monster is one of the playable characters in Project Theseus, a 1v1 multiplayer action game set in a dark underground laboratory:

The monster is the result of experimentation with human and alien DNA that was created in a secret underground lab with the intent to lengthen the lifespan of humans and ultimately attain immortality. The regenerative power that would enable this is manifested in the monster's growth and replication abilities which spread from its back outward through the underground laboratory and independently select suitable spots to spawn offspring. When the seismic activity shaking up the facility presents an opportunity for escape, the monsters main objective becomes protecting its offspring and delivering them to the surface via the emergency escape pods.
