Pirate Treasure Book Covers

I recently had the opportunity to help out a friend by making book covers for her debut novels "Das Vermächtnis des Captain Kidd".

Given the pirate topic the idea was to have stolen jewelry/ pirate treasure on the cover, which was mainly inspired by 17th century pendants with animals that are just bursting with pearls, enamel and gems.
